Agency Overview
Sagkeeng Child & Family Services is one of 10 agencies governed by Southern First Nations Network of Care providing provincially mandated services.
We believe that children are our gifts and as a community, it is our responsibility to guarantee their physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs.
We provide a variety of services built on the principles of honesty, love, respect, kindness, trust, humility and courage.

Communities We Serve
Our goal is to provide quality services to members of Sagkeeng First Nation using a preventative approach to promote self-determination for those living on reserve and off.

Programs
Sagkeeng Child & Family Services offers a wide range of services to promote the well-being of children and families such as:
- Intake and After Hours/On Call
- Family Enhancement and Prevention
- Temporary Care/Reunification
- Permanent /Transitional Care
- Foster Care
- Child Abuse
More specifically our Family Enhancement and Prevention Services department develop programs, workshops and activities that are open to all community members and work collaboratively with other community organizations.
